When making tracking numbers, you have two options: Static or Dynamic.
Static:
These numbers will always appear the same and are simply 10-digit phone numbers that, when called, allow the call to be tracked and analyzed by the Patient Prism system.
Dynamic:
These numbers can only be used on websites and are added using a code snippet.
By implementing dynamic numbers, you can:
- Automatically capture the caller's referring source.
- Use Insertion Options numbers to show different pool numbers depending on how the user reached the website.
- Report website calls to Google Ads using our integration as conversions (if the call came from a Google Ad and Google knows about the call).
--------
The decision to use a dynamic number over a static number on a website comes down to how much data you want.
If you care more about all the viewers seeing the same number, create a static number.
Create a dynamic number if you are interested in deeper analytics that a static number can not provide.
