A static number is simply a 10-digit phone numbers that, when called, allow the call to be tracked and analyzed by the Patient Prism system.
This number will have the name that you give it in reporting and will route according to the Call Plan you assign to it.
- Go to the Phone Numbers Page.
- Click +Create on the top right of the page.
- Select Single Static" and press Next.
- Select the company and location you would like the number associated with.
A number must be associated with only 1 company and only 1 location within that company.
- Press Next.
- You will now pick the number you would like to create and to do you must first tell the system what area code you would like the number ot have:
- Enter the Area/Dial Code you would like the number to have.
- You can also add a number in the Local To section to look for a number in the area of another number (usually the office main number)
- The Contains field will allow you to find a number with a speicfic string of numbers (For example, I want a number that has 123 in it somewhere)
- When you are ready, click Find
- Click Select Available Number on the list that you would like to configure.

Configure the numbers settings:
- Name: this is how the number will show in the system
- Description(optional): If you would like to leave a note about this number that will only be seen in Patient Prism
- Tags: You can add a tag to groups number or assign a referral source
- Direction: This will almost always be inbound unless you want to make a number to facilitate the you call us part of Outbound Calls
- Call Plan: This will define how the number will behave (play this message and forward to this number)
- Message Plan: This is for SMS interactions that are off by default and will be released soon
- Failover Phone Number: In the very rare circumstance the calls fail, the call will route to this number
- Whisper: This will play a custom message when the call handler picks up the phone to answer.
The message will always be proceeded with "Call From."
For example, "call from Google Ads" or "call from website."
- Save the number.
- You have now created and assigned a number to your location.
- When this number receives a phone call, that call will be recorded and analyzed in Patient Prism, and the data will be attributed to this phone number and the location for which it is assigned.
