To create a Call Plan, go to:
Manage --> Call Plans
- Press +Create
- Select the Company the Call Plan should be associated with and give it a name.
We recommend naming it "Location Name - Forwards to (Forwarding Destination Number)" - Press Save
- We recommend starting all call plans with the Greeting Action.
You can leave the default or update it to a custom message.
You can also upload a pre-recorded message by clicking Select File: - After adding the greeting, press Add.
- There are many options after that, but the most common next action is the Dial action:
- This action asks where the call should be forwarded to after the greeting; enter the number you would like the call to be forwarded to.
This would be a number in your phone company system:
The timeout indicates how long our system should try until the call fails; phone systems will pick up the call within the 120-second time limit, so after entering the destination number, you can press Add. - Lastly, since the call has been transferred to the Dial Action number, the only thing left is to end the Call Plan with the Hang Up Action.
No message is needed. You can just press Hang Up and then press Add. - Press Publish in the top right to save your new Call Plan.
