In this step, you'll create a pair of conversion actions in Google Ads.
If you already have conversion actions you'd like to report to, use this step to verify they're configured correctly — you'll select them in the next step.
Every call in Patient Prism reports to two conversion actions, which is why they should always be created in pairs:
- Calls with a Click ID report to the Website (Import from clicks) category type.
- Calls without a Click ID push to the Calls from Ads category type.
Patient Prism can push data to any Conversion Action category, but most users choose Converted Lead or Qualified Lead.
Create two Google Ads conversion actions for each Patient Prism Trigger.
When you're finished, the result in Google Ads for a single Trigger should look similar to this:

Step-By-Step Guide
- Go to Goals in Google Ads.
- Select the blue +Create conversion action button:
- Select the Conversions from phone calls AND Conversion offline options:
- Click Add data source:
- Date source: Skip this step and set up a data source later
Customer data: Read and select the checkbox
Press the Done button on the bottom left:
- You can select any category here. However, most users pick either the Converted Lead or the Qualified Lead conversion actions; the choice is up to you:
- Press the + Add conversion action button:

You will now select both options, the Add data source later and Calls via uploads
Once you click one, you will have to use the button here to select the other: - Click the Edit settings option for both to rename and adjust the other settings if you would like to:
- The only thing we recommend changing here (other than the name) is the Count to Count One (but the settings here are ultimately up to you):
- Once you update both, click Save and continue:
- Finalize by clicking the Finish button:
To complete the procees, you will have to Configure a Patient Prism Trigger to push specific calls as conversions to the Custom Actions
