For the meta integration to work, you must first use the dynamic website pool integration on your website or landing page.
This will allow Patient Prism to capture the Facebook/Meta Click ID that we will use to report back to Meta via this integration.
Please start by making sure any website you would like to capture data for is using the dynamic website pool integration explained below:
How to Create a Dynamic (Website Pool) Tracking Number
After confirming you are successfully swapping the number on the site for a Patient Prism pool number, follow the steps below to configure the Meta Integration:
- Add Patient Prism as a Partner in Meta Ads.
- Connect the Meta Ads Account and Dataset(s).
- Create a Trigger to report data to the integration.
Add Patient Prism as a Partner in Meta Ads
- Login into Meta Business Suite (https://business.facebook.com) that you would like to push data to
- Press on Settings at bottom right
- Go to Accounts -> Ad Accounts & select the Ad Account you want.
Under that press "Add Partner" and add Patient Prism's Business ID 1876767092753610
- Make sure the Dataset you want to work with for this is connected (Datasets -> Connected Assets)
— Make sure the Dataset is linked to the Ad Account as a Connected Asset
Datasets -> Dataset -> Connected Assets
Connect the Meta Ads Account and Dataset(s).
- In Patient Prism, go to Integrations -> Meta Ads
- Click the Add Integration button on the top right to link the Facebook/Meta account(s) that you want to push data to and Login with Facebook
- It will now be labeled as Inactive and you will have to Edit:
- After clicking Edit, select the Business, Ad Account, & Dataset that you would like to report data to. You also have the option to update the Name:
- If you will be connecting more Datasets, repeat Steps 6-9.
Create a Trigger to report data to the integration.
- Go to the Triggers page and press +Create to create a new Trigger:
- Select your Company, name the trigger (For Example, Meta Integration), and press Create.
- To report data based on a call occurring, select Call Analysis Updated;
To report based on a form being analyzed, select Form Analysis Updated:
(we will be selecting Call Analysis Updated for this example).
- Set the Conditions for when you would like the integration to occur.
For this example, we want to report when the call is analyzed as a New Opportunity for one of our two locations:
- Click + Add Action and select Report Conversion to Meta Ads:
- Select the Integration you would like this Trigger to associate data with:
- You can now select the button to only report calls if a Facebook Click ID is present.
These are collected by the dynamic pool numbers on a website.
- Choose which Standard Event to report to or enter a custom Event Name that you will see in your Meta Ads account:
- Choose to send either All Fields (to have the best chance or matching with an ad) or you can send just Select Fields to Meta.
Patient Prism will then report conversion to Meta Ads whenever the Conditions are met to the integration linked in the Action. Meta will then accept them if they can match the data to an add using the fbclid or the fields that are sent.
