The Meta Ads integration lets Patient Prism report call and form conversions back to Meta, so your ad campaigns can be measured and optimized based on the leads they actually generate.
Before You Begin
The integration relies on the Facebook/Meta Click ID (fbclid), which Patient Prism captures through the dynamic website pool integration. Before setting up the Meta integration, make sure every website or landing page you want to capture data for is using dynamic pool numbers:
How to Create a Dynamic (Website Pool) Tracking Number
Once you've confirmed the number on your site is successfully swapping to a Patient Prism pool number, the Meta integration setup has three parts:
- Add Patient Prism as a partner in Meta Ads.
- Connect the Meta Ads account and dataset(s) in Patient Prism.
- Create a Trigger to report data to the integration.
Part 1: Add Patient Prism as a Partner in Meta Ads
- Log in to the Meta Business Suite account you want to push data to.
- Click Settings in the bottom left.
- Go to Accounts → Ad Accounts and select the ad account you want to use. Click Add Partner and enter Patient Prism's Business ID: 1876767092753610
- Confirm that the dataset you want to use is linked to the ad account as a connected asset. To check, go to Datasets, select your dataset, and open Connected Assets.
Part 2: Connect the Meta Ads Account and Dataset(s)
- In Patient Prism, go to Integrations → Meta Ads.
- Click the Add Integration button in the top right, then log in with Facebook to link the Meta account(s) you want to push data to.
- The new integration will initially be labeled Inactive. Click Edit to configure it.
- Select the Business, Ad Account, and Dataset you want to report data to. You can also update the integration's Name here.
- To connect additional datasets, repeat steps 2–4 for each one.
Part 3: Create a Trigger to Report Data to the Integration
- Go to the Triggers page and click + Create.
- Select your company, name the trigger (for example, "Meta Integration"), and click Create.
- Choose what should trigger the report:
- To report data when a call is analyzed, select Call Analysis Updated.
- To report data when a form is analyzed, select Form Analysis Updated.
This example uses Call Analysis Updated.
- Set the Conditions for when the report should be sent. In this example, we report whenever a call is analyzed as a New Opportunity for one of our two locations.
- Click + Add Action and select Report Conversion to Meta Ads.
- Select the Integration this trigger should send data to.
- Optionally, enable the setting to only report calls when a Facebook Click ID is present. Click IDs are collected by the dynamic pool numbers on your website.
- Choose which Standard Event to report to, or enter a custom Event Name that will appear in your Meta Ads account.
- Choose whether to send All Fields (for the best chance of matching a conversion to an ad) or only Select Fields.
How It Works
Whenever the trigger's conditions are met, Patient Prism reports the conversion to the Meta Ads integration linked in the action. Meta accepts the conversion if it can match it to an ad using the fbclid or the fields you've chosen to send.
