How to Set up the Dentally Integration

To integrate Patient Prism and Dentally, you will have to:
1. Configure and generate an API Token 
2. Use the token to link Dentally and Patient Prism within the Patient Prism integration page

 

Configure and generate an API Token 

1. As a Dentally Admin, go to the link below:
   https://app.dentally.co/settings/developer/tokens
    
2. Make sure user: read and practice:read remains checked.
    
3. Select all for the following
   - Appointment
   - Patient
   - Treatment
    
4. Your token screen should look like this:
   
    
5. Press save.
    
6. Copy the token that appears.

Set up Integration in Patient Prism 

1. Go to the Dentally integration (Mange >  Integrations > Dentally:
   https://next-web.patientprism.com/manage/integrations
   
    
2. Click the +Add Instance button on the top right
   
    
3. Give the integration a name, add the token you created in the last section, and press Save:
   
   
    
4. Go to the new Locations button that appeared on the left panel:
   
    
5. Click Enable next to the location(s) you would like to integrate:
   
    
6. For the Dentally Instance, this would be the instance created/linked on the Summary page
   
    
7. Add the Office ID, which is found in the URL of the Site in Dentally.
   - Go Settings (the gear icon)
   - Click Site
   - Select the location you would like to link
   - Copy this UUID (between the sites and edit slashes:
   
    
8. Select the Dentally Default Payment Plan ID. This is a requirement for the Dentally integration.

You have now linked the Dentally and Patient Prism platforms for the location(s) you enabled.
Patient Prism can now read and write into the Dentally platform.
