Using Tracking Number Tags to Mass Apply a Referring Source

Static numbers do not know their referral source, and they will need to be told what to set using the Trigger System.
You can either do this by selecting the number in the Trigger system conditions page, or you can do it by following this guide to apply a Tag to phone numbers and then have that Tag be what assigns the source.

1. Create a Tag that will apply to numbers that should have a similar source (Google My Business, Print Media, Google Ads, etc).
   
   
2. Add that tag to your static numbers by using the bulk Modify feature on the Manage Phone Numbers page. (See the video above for instructions at 1:50 into the video.)
3. Then, go to the Trigger System and create a new Trigger.
   
   
4. Select the Event as Recording Stored.
   
   
5. Add the Condtion as Tracking Number Tag equals one of the tags you applied.
   
   
6. Set the Action as Set Referring Source.
   
   
7. Select the Referring Source as the one you would like to correspond with the tag being applied.
