For outbound calls, you could initially only use an inbound Patient Prism number as the caller ID the patient will see on their phone.
However, our new Verified Number feature will allow you to register a non-Patient Prism number and have that number show up on the patient's phone when you call them from the Patient Prism system.
To verify a number, first go to the Manage-->Phone Numbers page:

- Click +Create on the top right.
- Select Verified Number.
- Select Next.
- Select the Company and Location with which you would like to associate this number.
- Enter the number you would like to verify and then press Verify Number:
If there is an extension associated with that number, you can enter it in the box next to the number so that it can ring to an extension to make the verification easier (this would make it so it would ring to the extension directly and you do not have to worry about someone else answering the cal) - Our system will then call that number and you will have to enter the 6-digit validation code on your phone when prompted:
- Once that is done, the audio will tell you your number has been verified and can now be used as an outbound caller ID.
