The Trigger System is what allows new contacts to be create.
Go to Manage-->Triggers (only Company Administrators can access the Trigger System):

For the purposes of this guide, we are going to want to create a contact when a new or existing opportunity call is initially analyzed and when a new form is submitted.
Please follow the steps below to set this up:
- Go to the Triggers page.
- Create a Trigger and give it a name.
Example: Create Contact - New/Existing Call and Forms - Select Call Analysis Updated.
- Change Match All to Match Any
- For the Conditions, add:
Classification = New Opportunity
and
Classification = Existing Opportunity - For the Action, press Add Action and Select Create Contact
- Next, under Select a Trigger Event, select Form Submission Created
- No Condition is needed for this event
- For the Action, press Add Action and Select Create Contact
- Press Save
Your new Trigger should look like this:
Going forward, any time a new or existing opportunity call is analyzed or a new form is submitted
