If you would like to record calls when your main number is dialed, and the patient clicks an option on your phone company phone tree, as well as when a Patient Prism marketing number is dialed, you must first understand that the marketing number CAN NOT be forwarded to the main number.
This could cause Patient Prism to record the call twice (once when the marketing number is dialed and again once the caller reaches the mainline and possibly selects an option we are recording in a phone tree).
To properly configure this setup method, you must forward the marketing calls to the same number the phone tree Patient Prism tracking number is sending the call to.
So if they call the phone tree and press the option we record, the associated Patient Prism number sends them to your phone company number X.
If they call the marketing number, you will want to send them to number X as well:
However, if you need the marketing numbers to also go to a phone tree for routing purposes, that is possible but requires a more advanced configuration.
The main number would remain forwarding to the Patient Prism number when the option is pressed.
But, since you also want to send the marketing numbers to a phone tree, the phone company will have to create a new number that has a second phone tree assigned to it.
This new "duplicate phone tree" will have to match the main number phone tree, except, instead of forwarding it to the Patient Prism number, it will have to stay internal.
This option is more difficult to set up and manage in the long term but would be the only way for Patient Prism to record an option on your main number AND marketing numbers that will need to route to different places:
