To make an outbound call to a phone number of your choice, follow the steps below:
1. Click on a call that you would like to make a follow up call for, and then click the Follow Ups tab
2. Click Place a Call instead of Manual
3. This will bring up the Patient Prism outbound calling screen.
It automatically injects the Call To number and the Outbound Caller ID.
This Call To number is the patient's number from the initial call that this follow up is taking place.
The Outbound Caller ID is the inbound tracking number the patient dialed, which caused Patient Prism to record and analyze the call.
4. You now can either select the Softphone or the You Call Us option
The softphone will allow you to use your computer to make the outbound call.
The You Call Us option will allow you to use your phone to dial a Patient Prism outbound number and then enter a PIN to facilitate the call.
5a. Softphone:
You just have to press the Call button, and our system will connect you to the number you entered in Step 4.
5b. You Call Us:
If you have already created an outbound number, the system will show you this number and generate a unique PIN for this specific phone call.
Dial the number and the PIN and press #
That will then dial the Call To number you entered in Step 4.
6. Once the call ends, the call audio and link will be placed within the follow-up section of the initial call and will be analyzed if that feature is enabled on your account:
Our system will also update the call to a converted booked phone call if the call is analyzed as booked so no manual work will have to be done by the agent who made the call.
